This year Missio celebrates 200 years of Mission.
Missio began with the vision of one woman
200 ago, a young Frenchwoman, Pauline Jaricot, had the vision of an international network of prayer and support for the work of missions.
“I lit the match that lit the fire” said by Pauline Jaricot.
From the commitment of this one woman, it grew into the global mission which is still alive and growing 200 years on!
On 22nd May 2022 Pauline Jaricot’s beatification will take place, a key milestone on the journey towards being recognised as a saint.
