THE NEED
- Nearly one billion people in rural regions of the world, especially in Peru, live in communities far from the nearest paved road, walking for miles each day just to survive.
- On foot, individuals race against the sun to complete everyday tasks. Distance is a barrier to attending school, receiving healthcare, delivering goods to market and other critical services needed to thrive.
Fr Cefai says
“children walk 3 hours per day to get to school on unsafe roads and extreme heat. Attending school is important since it will give them a hope for a better future”.

OUR RESPONSE
Missio Malta would like to support Fr Cefai who supports the communities in Peru to deliver specially designed, locally assembled, rugged bicycles for people in need.
THE GOAL: 300 BICYCLES BY END 2022
The amount per bicycle is €100 and with this amount we would ease their mobility, save time to go to school, give dignity and an opportunity to go to school for a brighter future!
Thank you for your donations !
